Shade you can actually adjust
Rafter spacing and orientation decide how much sun gets through and when. Run the slats one way and you shade the hottest part of the afternoon; run them the other and you keep morning light. We work that out against where your patio faces before drawing anything.
If you want full cover for rain as well as sun, we can build a solid roof or fit a louvered aluminium system you can close on demand.
Built to stand up to weather
Structures are engineered for local snow load and anchored properly — into footings below frost for freestanding builds, or through-bolted to structural framing where it attaches to the house. Cedar is finished to slow greying; aluminium comes powder-coated and needs nothing.
Posts land on the compacted base, not floating on pavers, which is why it is worth building it at the same time as the patio.
Extras worth planning in
Fans, downlights, heaters, privacy screens, climbing-plant wire and outlets are all much easier to run while the timber is open. Even if you are not fitting them this year, we can rough in the wiring so it is there when you want it.
